WATConsult partners with Quartile for Sebamed's Amazon Ads - Exchange4media
With an aim to streamline and further improve keyword optimisation for Sebamed, WATConsult, an Isobar company and hybrid digital agency from dentsu India, has partnered with Quartile, an ad technology service provider for the AI software.
WATConsult’s partnership with Quartile has allowed Sebamed to become the first brand in India to use the AI-powered platform. This proprietary software has auto-managed media keywords through careful analysis of previous performance and requirements. Thus, manual intervention for best-performing keywords and other metrics are eliminated. This has not only boosted optimization for Sebamed campaigns but paved the way for the entry of ad types on Amazon.
Commenting on the success of the collaboration, Shashi Ranjan, Country Head, Sebamed said, “As a brand, we are always pushing ourselves to evolve with the changing times and use the latest technology to deliver our promises. From the $44 billion Twitter buyout, massive trolling and memes to critical remarks from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk is the man of the moment. Netizens across the world, especially the 300+ million users on Twitter, are still in awe by Musk's move and are speculating whether the sale of the world's most influential social media platform to the world’s wealthiest man is good news for them.
The megadeal has come at a time when Twitter faces massive criticism in India and abroad over its extensive “content moderation” amid intensifying debates over free speech and the spread of fake news.
Several Twitter users in India have accused the platform of toeing the government line and banning critics but sparing certain hate mongers. Earlier, several known faces like former US President Donald Trump and Indian actor Kangana Ranaut were even removed from the microblogging site for allegedly spreading disinformation.
The twist in the story is that Musk describes himself as a ‘free speech absolutist’ and has often said that he wants to reform Twitter, its harsh policy in particular.

Dentsu Indonesia has strengthened its leadership team by expanding Joseph Wallace's (pictured left) CFO remit to include chief operating officer while Andreas (pictured right), former Isobar ECD, is now chief creative officer of the creative service line. Wallace and Andreas have been with the agency for seven years and two years respectively. Before this, Wallace worked at Deloitte, KPMG, and Schweppes while Andreas was with Gojek, TBWA\ Indonesia, and Leo Burnett.
This comes three months after Prakash Kamdar was appointed CEO of dentsu Indonesia, in addition to his Singapore remit, and the promotion of Wisnu Satya Putra, Arshad Rahman, and Aloysia Dian. Since then, dentsu said it has brought onboard new wins and renewals of prominent clients during the first quarter. Havas production network appoints first global chief operating officer - Campaign
Havas Studios has named James Sanderson as its first global chief operating officer.
Sanderson joins Havas’ global production network from marketing consultancy ICP, where he was the global creative operations practice lead.
Before joining ICP, he founded Wunderman Thompson Inside, WPP's in-housing division, and was its global head for three years. He was also chief operating officer of in-house agency Oliver for two years.
Sanderson has previously spent seven years at Glue Isobar (now Isobar) as joint MD and then COO, before serving as UK president at Digitas from 2009 to 2011.
In his new role, he will develop the network of production studios – which include those in London, New York and Paris – as well as new outposts in Latin America, China and India, working alongside Havas Studios global chief executive Paul Ward.
He is tasked with ensuring technology is used as part of the handover between different locations, to improve efficiency and effectiveness during the process.
Havas Studios is investing in technologies that are "location agnostic" so the business operates well at all hours across the globe, the agency said.

Paul Arena joins as head of strategy and planning to lead the agency’s strategic offering. Arena joins Ogilvy following stints at TBWA and most recently BWM Isobar. He brings to the role 18 years of experience leading strategy for brands including Toyota, ANZ Kmart, Asahi, Medibank and RACV.
