After the reign of itty-bitty mini handbags over the past couple of years, it’s time to switch over to all things oversized — and that means big sunglasses, chunky boots, and now, our handbags. Yes, this means we’re packing all of our essentials with us everywhere we go, and though we may have to sp

Bella Hadid's Met Gala After-Party Look Is Frederick's of Hollywood-Meets-Goth Girl - Glamour
2022-05-03
Hours after walking the 2022 Met Gala red carpet in a sleek and sexy Burberry ensemble that can only be described as Haute Topic Couture, Bella Hadid stepped out again in an even skimpier version of her outfit, hitting up hot spot Zero Bond in a getup that is very Frederick’s of Hollywood meets Witchcore and reminds us of her Victoria’s Secret days. The look is actually custom Dilara Findìkoglu.
There is quite simply So Much going on here. The cutout corset is giving Madonna’s “Vogue” at the 1990 MTV Awards with a hint of Fifty Shades. The nipple covers attached to the necklace remind me of when Jess Day wore sexy starfish lingerie. The lace hot pants, fishnet skirt, sheer stockings and…okay, those shoes with the cutout heart? They are actually so cute and I want them please.

Not to be gross, but how does she pee in that outfit? There are just so many pieces.

Dash open NWSL season trying to focus on soccer amid investigation of coach James Clarkson
2022-04-30
Tuesday night, the Dash learned their coach, James Clarkson, had been suspended after the team received a report on a joint investigation by the National Women’s Soccer League and its players’ association into alleged discrimination, harassment and abuse.
Wednesday morning, the team reported for its normal training. On Sunday, the team will play its season opener at PNC Stadium against San Diego. The five days in between have been an exercise in maintaining focus after becoming the latest NWSL team to deal with reports of discrimination and harassment.
“When we hear something, we just have to roll with the punches,” said goalkeeper Jane Campbell, who noted the players were informed just 20 minutes before a news statement on the investigation was released. “The timing was quite fast. The next morning we had training and showed up like normal and the same schedule.
“Our first (conversations as a team) was we had a game and we have to prepare.”
Sarah Lowdon, who was an assistant with the Dash from 2014-16, will coach Sunday’s game.
The team’s new president, Jessica O’Neill, has been involved in helping the organization manage this week. “She has talked to us many times about coming together and having to lean on each …

It’s no small thing to work beside a legend, and on his first day filming Dalí Land, director Mary Harron’s biopic of the painter, Briney did just that. “The first scene I shot was with Sir Ben Kingsley,” he says. “You can probably see me shaking in the final cut.” Briney wrapped Dalí Land, which will play summer festivals, and went directly into filming the series The Summer I Turned Pretty. Soon enough, his nerves were history. “By the end of it,” he says, “I didn’t feel like an intruder.”
Is Juilliard known for poli-sci? Maybe not, but for graduate Lawson, two star-making roles have involved portraying politicos. Earlier this year she played Gotham City mayor-elect Bella Reál in The Batman, and she currently appears asa young Michelle Obama on Showtime’s The First Lady. But Lawson is more focused on personalities than policy. “I prioritize projects where women I’m playing have agency,” she says. “We’ll see a perspective that’s often pushed to the background.”
In the new comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, out now, Nicolas Cage plays a satirized version of himself. Sheen, who plays Cage’s daughter in her first major film role, also has a meta moment—she tapped into …

Early Voting Targets Preakness - Thoroughbred Daily News
2022-04-27
Klaravich Stables' Early Voting (Gun Runner) is possible to make his next start in the May 21 GI Preakness S. at Pimlico, although trainer Chad Brown may opt to enter the GIII Withers S. winner Monday in the GI Kentucky Derby if there is a strategic defection. The four-time Eclipse Award-winning trainer will be represented by Keeneland's GI Blue Grass S. winner Zandon (Upstart) at Churchill Downs for the Derby.
“Right now the horse is still in New York preparing for the Preakness,” Brown said of Early Voting. “If the complexion of the Derby field changes a certain way before the race, it's not out of the question that I go ahead and ship him over to Churchill and enter him in the Derby. But right now we're planning on running in the Preakness.”
He continued, “We have the points [to get in the Derby]. The horse is doing well. We have the flexibility to keep it as an option. No one is forcing us to make a decision earlier than we want. I don't want to make a 'final' decision and then change your mind. That's worse than delaying. Things happen. Horses drop out, the pace scenario could change, things like …
EARLY VOTING MD BOUND - Horse Race Insider
2022-04-27
Edited Press Release — The next start for Klaravich Stables’ Grade 3 winner Early Voting is likely to be the 147th Preakness Stakes May 21 at historic Pimlico Race Course, though trainer Chad Brown is reserving the right to enter the 3-year-old colt Monday in the Kentucky Derby (G1) if there is a strategic defection.
Brown has not shipped the lightly raced colt from New York to Churchill Downs, which he said was telling in itself. The four-time Eclipse Award-winning trainer does have Keeneland’s Blue Grass (G1) winner Zandon at Churchill Downs for the Derby.
“Right now the horse is still in New York preparing for the Preakness,” Brown said of Early Voting. “If the complexion of the Derby field changes a certain way before the race, it’s not out of the question that I go ahead and ship him over to Churchill and enter him in the Derby.
