The company, together with its subsidiaries, provides travel services including hotel reservation, airline tickets, and packaged tours in China. Beyond the basic reservation and ticketing, the company also provides integrated transportation and accommodation services; and various value-added services consisting of car rental, insurance, visa services, tour guides, transportation at destinations, and entrance tickets. Presently, Ctrip.com is the largest online travel service company in China. In the fiscal year of 2011, it recorded USD 592 Million total revenue, with the majority coming from commissions of the airlines and hotels.
